All cooperative units in Indonesia must apply digital technology to gain a competitive advantage to win in the era of the fourth industrial revolution, Secretary General of the Indonesian Cooperative Council (Dekopin) Mohamad Sukri emphasized.
"Cooperative units in Indonesia must stay abreast of the developments in digital technology. Under the framework of total cooperative reform efforts initiated in the era of industrial revolution 4.0, cooperative units in Indonesia must start applying digital technology," Sukri stated here on Wednesday.
Currently, only 25-30 percent of cooperative units in the country have applied digital technology.
"The competition is inevitable in domestic and foreign markets. I heard that Malaysian cooperative units will invest in Indonesia," he stated.
