Telkomsel strengthens its seriousness in developing the Internet of Things (IoT) to realize Digital Innovation Village in Indonesia. The development of the IoT ecosystem is realized through the application of Narrowband Internet of Things technology in the Digital Fishing Village in the Losarang aquaculture area, Indramayu Regency.
Collaborating with eFishery and Japfa through its subsidiary PT Suri Tani Pemuka, Telkomsel also supports the implementation of NB-IoT Technology by utilizing the automatic fish feeder engine in fish ponds to improve feed efficiency and accelerate the fish harvest cycle.
"IoT is one of the important elements to support the Indonesian government roadmap 'Making Indonesia 4.0'. Telkomsel consistently continues to improve technology and network readiness to face the growing IoT trend globally.
