Contactless payment via GoPay on Bluebird through QRIS code (IndoTelko)

It is now easier and safer for the public to pay for Bluebird Taxi services without direct contact via GoPay. The leading electronic money in Indonesia is already present in more than 11 thousand Bluebird taxi fleets throughout Indonesia by utilizing Bank Indonesia’s Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS) code.

QRIS is a standardization of payments using the QR Code method from Bank Indonesia to make the transaction process with QR Code easier, faster and more secure.“Entering the era of adaptation to new habits, people are increasingly aware of the importance of improving cleanliness and safety in their activities, including when making transactions.

Digital payment through QRIS can be the main choice to make it easier for people to do activities without worrying about the risk of spreading COVID-19, because QRIS transactions are carried out without physical touch. This is also in line with Gojek’s J3K (Keep Health, Cleanliness and Security) initiative which encourages application users to prioritize digital payments through GoPay.

We want the convenience of contactless digital transactions through QRIS to be utilized by more people, including Bluebird users,” said GoPay Managing Director Budi Gandasoebrate.
