Rainmaking teams up with ESG to launch supply-chain focused accelerator (The Business Times)

Corporate innovation firm Rainmaking has teamed up with Enterprise Singapore (ESG) to launch an accelerator focused on the transport and logistics sector.

The programme, called the Supply Chain Resilience Accelerator, will back at least 20 startups from Singapore that specialise in supply-chain solutions.

Aiming to strengthen local and global supply chains, it will focus on startups that can help in end-to-end visibility, automation, analytics and sustainability. Rainmaking will nurture the shortlisted startups, foster valuable startup-corporate engagements to drive scalable pilots, and provide access to investment opportunities, it said in a statement on Thursday.

Angela Noronha, director for open innovation at Rainmaking, said that the Covid-19 crisis has “exposed the fragility of global trade”.
